During the recent Steam Next Fest, there was a demo released for Sea of Stars. It’s a retro-inspired turn-based RPG, and I had a heck of a lot of fun playing it. So what does “retro-inspired” mean? Basically, Sea of Stars looks like it would fit right in alongside Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana or Final Fantasy VI. The gameply skips over a bunch of the drudgery, though. There’s no grinding, no random encounters when you’re just trying to get from point a to point b, only fun combat and puzzles.
