Lightning Movie Review – Tangled

We took the kids to see Tangled this weekend, and Mattie in particular LOVED IT.  As in, during the moving saying ‘Mommy I WUV DIS MOVIE!’, and having to come over and sit on my lap so she could tell me the same thing directly.  Okay, and get direct access to more popcorn.  I thought it was great, better than I expected.  The horse (Maximus) is hilarious, the action scenes are good, and the villainess dies in classic Disney fashion.

If you have a princess-obsessed daughter, you’ve probably already seen it.  Even without that, it’s still worth it.

    For some reason, I wasn’t really expecting this to be that good. None of the trailers particularly impressed me and in some ways, they annoyed me. But all the real people I know who’ve seen it have really liked it. I’m glad to hear it.

      Disney trailers are hit and miss. I didn’t see Lilo and Stitch originally because the early trailers weren’t even about the movie, really. But it’s one of my favorites.

      The Tangled trailers I saw suffered from some of the same. I understand not wanting to show too many of the funny gags, but you need to show something. And what they did show is funnier in context.
