Still working on something, snowed again last night and work has been crazy.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

TheTick

FYI, sent Nighthawk a PM with some info, just awaiting his response (no rush).

Anyone else notice this odd turn of events?

TheTick

Kirdo and Sandy both saw that the axe should've cleaved Dariel's head from his shoulders, but didn't. (Made the Will saves to disbelieve)

Maura, for her part, thinks Dariel's reaction was odd but would still act as if the Orcs are real.  (Just missed the Will save, even with the bonus from seeing Dariel nearly killed)

Nighthawk, Dariel cannot currently tell where the illusion is coming from.

Will work up the other two Orcs in a bit, then Maura is up.

Note that if any try to move past her, Maura gets 3 attacks of opportunity per round.

Sandy blunders into the woods with the grace of a blind bullmoose, and the heightened senses of a fish with influenza.

Two 1s in a row.

TheTick

Giving Nighthawk a chance to have Dariel respond.  Figure the Ranger would want to search and stuff.

Was the site down yesterday? I couldn't connect to it last night...

Give me a bit.

ETA: Natural 1 on Perception... Aren't you all glad you have me as your sc-***TREE!***

TheTick

If no one objects, we'll continue on with the journey.

No objections— just note that Sandy will be scouting ahead using his stealth (+7) and perception (+9) to sense the next obstacle or any other dangers.

He'll move ahead of the party about 60 feet or so to start with.

TheTick

Sounds reasonable.  I will also need a couple of Survival checks, one to continue along the trail with the map, and may as well go ahead and roll one to find a good place to stop for the night.

Survival +5: Route,
Rolled 1d20+5 : 10 + 5, total 15
Campsite,
Rolled 1d20+5 : 6 + 5, total 11
Bit swamped so lite on flavor.

Maura will allow the survival pros to take the lead in this one.
