Realm of the Fellnight Queen - In Character

There's a huge WHOOOOOSH and a blast of heat as Felix points and ignites a massive fireball right on top of the wind-battered bees.  After the flames subside, hundreds of blackened bee bodies fall to the earth, and the ones not killed seem content to flee in all directions, whatever held them together as an angry swarm forgotten.

After the last of the bees finish pelting the earth, there's a beat of silence, and voices begin to call out for help.  Viviana channels healing energy over the townsfolk, then begins to look among them for those more seriously injured.  Elyin signals the nearby Foresthawks to fan out, then goes to check on Kailah.  He searches out Felicty and nods to her.

Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Felix flinches and adjusts his robes, "I did say there would be bees, did I not?  I felt an ill omen."

TheTick

After a few moments, Elyin walks over to Felicity, but before he can begin to talk a voice starts shouting, seemingly from above you.  "Fools! You shall rue the day you shunned my pallid condition and laughed at my losses! Know your doom has come! When Queen Rhoswen arrives, all will perish—you will choke upon her mist, die by her thorns, and fall before her armies! May you forever suffer the curses of the Fellnight fey! Tenzekil shall have his revenge on you all!"

As Tenzekil's proclamation finishes, a wall of thorns springs up around you and Elyin, and three creatures step out the likes of which you've never seen before.

Bashir growls, "Show yourself, Tenzekil! We have need for no more than one doom and gloom fortuneteller, and it isn't you. Come accept justice if you are responsible for the misdeeds on this day!"

Phil

Felicity is impressed when the ball of flame skatters the bees.  Crazy or not, the cleric is not without skill.  The bees were mostly a nuisance, but could have hurt many if left unchecked.

She's not entirely taken aback when the gnome begins his rant.  She'd expected some magic user to have been behind the swarm attack.  Felicity knocks an arrow as the gnome makes his speech.  After the thorn wall envelopes her, the half-elf considers the strange creatures now in front of her.

What manner of enemy is this?

The creature nearest Bashir lashes out with fists and a bite, and the dervish takes one stiff jolt (-4hp) but avoids being grabbed or gored.

Even as the creature lashes out at Bashir, the skilled fighter studies its movements, searching for weaknesses. Its speed is surprising as it lashes him, but Bashir, absorbing the blow, attempts to slip under its guard, his cold iron blade cutting a vicious arc.

Al's lips starts curling and her teeth gritted. Being caged in like this does not agree well with the more feral side of her druid nature.
When I get my hands on that tiny little creep, I'll squash his head between my thighs!

TheTick

The creature slashed by Bashir recoils in pain, and draws a wicked looking axe.

The spriggans near Felicity and Big Al look at one another, and both pull a nasty looking thorn from the vines surrounding them and snap them through the air, hitting both targets.  (-5hp for both Felicity and Big Al)  The one by Big Al draws an axe, the other uncoils a long vine and brandishes it like a whip.

Unsure how to help, Felix casts about for a way to contribute.  Literally.  "I may not be much in a fight, but I can call on someone who is."

Felix casts Summon Monster II to summon a Fire Elemental.

TheTick

Felicity's arrow stabs deeply into the spriggan's torso and it roars in pain.  Big Al's spear juuuust slides off one of the vines protecting the spriggan she attacks after taking a step up.  Behind them, Felix begins his summoning incantations.

The spriggan by Bashir swings the axe, and just misses wrecking the human's day.

Bashir ducks the swinging axe, ignoring the sound of it cutting the air just above his head. Intent on staying close and dodging any other incoming attacks, he hacks at the creature twice in quick succession. This first attack is meant to wound, his second, to knock the vicious axe from the creature's hands.
