Felix raises his hands and his gaze to the sky, "On this day, let us set aside the incoming monstrous slugs in favor of good tidings.  The ceremony has occurred and so we shall celebrate!  Even if we may soon perish.  But let us throw these cares away.  And dance!"

TheTick

The music swells again, and Viviana steps forward to sing a song of unexpected love from Shelyn's Melodies of Inner Beauty.

Burhan/Felicity: ShowHide
When she begins singing, you notice a strange buzzing sound, and an unusual number of bees flitting around.

You admire Viviana's voice when she suddenly stops and yells "Ouch!".  Several bees are harassing her, and the low hum that most thought was part of the music suddenly turns into an angry buzz as hundreds of bees fly in from the forest.

I will roll your initiative.  Burhan and Felicity were perceptive enough to notice the bees making their move, they can act in the surprise round.  The terrain around you is considered difficult due to the benches and the mad rush of people trying to dodge bees.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Without a word, Bashir strides to collect the closest torch and attempts to light it with flint and steel.

This is assuming there are torches. Figured there would be since there is supposed to be dinner and dancing which might last into the night.

SteveRogers

"Did I not say bees would be upon us!"

Felix takes cover while he shouts about impending doom.

Al's prepping a hurricane blast to clear the bees away, but wants to clear the area. She starts spinning her spear over head.
Everyone get low and get clear. Let me try to blast them out of here!
She nods at Felix
Slug guy! Help get these people out of the way!

"Townsfolk, run for the nearest dwelling!  This is no natural insect attack!"  Felicity does her best to sound authoritative.

Bashir successfully lights a torch, and the nearest bees shy away from it.

The swarm by the gazebo seems intent on Elyin now, and he throws his cloak over Kailah while shouting, "Yes, listen to her, get clear!"  The crowd shifts when Elyin's voice joins Felicity's, moving towards the chapel.

The other swarm is bearing down on Felicity, with a few getting caught in her hair, but only one painful sting (-3hp) to show for it.

(Phil, make a Fort save)

Burhan Bashir, spinning the torch to create as much of a cloud of smoke as possible, rushes to the bride and groom.

"Retreat now. Quickly!" he directs them, his voice calm but urgent.

His back to the couple, he attempts to keep the bobbing and weaving torch as a barrier between himself and the bee swarm.

Burhan sees some of the bees fall, the rest buzz all the more fiercely.  They shift their assault to him, giving Elyin a few seconds to guide Kailah and about half of the townsfolk into the chapel.  "This is all that will fit!"  (-5hp to Burhan Bashir from that swarm, needs a Fort save also)  "Felicity, Felix, would the tent be of use?" Elyin shouts over the hum of the angry bees.

Anyone can respond to Elyin, he's just shouting to the people he knows, and he knows are helping.

Felix shouts back, "What bloody good would a tent be?"

He weighs the situation and then decides he had best do something.  Hoping the smoke from a fire, he mumbles a quick prayer and then casts a fiery incantation on the ground near the closest swarm.

Felicity briefly glances at the tent, but fails to see any strategic value there.  She ignores her brother and runs to Galadon, who was keeping her bow safe for her.

After snatching her bow and quiver, she races off in the direction the bees came from.

(40ft base movement, however far that gets me with whatever actions were needed to get my bow and equip it.)

TheTick

Felicity deftly steps among the benches to where Galadon is helping herd the townsfolk to relative safety.  He tosses Felicity her bow and quiver as she peers to the north where the bees came from.

The bee swarm painfully jabs Elyin again, and he stumbles.

Big Al peers carefully through the buzzing mass but sees no one out of the ordinary.  If there's someone nearby who brought the bees here, they are well hidden.  She completes an incantation, and a massive blast of powerful winds whips the bees at least 60 feet away - and well away from any of the townsfolk.

(Pausing here to see if Felix might want to use a more potent spell now that there's some breathing room.  Don't see what he's got prepared though.  The winds continue for a round.)
