Corby 3 - 19 (-12hp)
Owen - 17

Jeddy - 13
Corby 2 - 13 (-4hp)
S'Vith - 5
Giant Spider - 5

One of the rooftop corbies again signals insistently across the courtyard.  This time, there is a response, a huge crashing sound.  A boulder flies wildly off into the forest, and from the plume of splintered wood and mossy rope, that catapult isn't firing again.  The corby attacking Neith manages to scratch the massive bird. (-3hp)  The spider-headed humanoid runs toward Faraway and Owen, but stops about 30 feet away.  It slings a glob of webbing at Faraway, but the Druid dodges it at the last minute.

(Pausing here in case the ettercap's move changes anything.  Also, where does Horcrust want the eagle at?  By the Corby near Neith, out in the courtyard, near you in case the roof corbies visit?)

Faraway feels Neith's pain as it is slashed by the corby, but he only spares the bird a quick glance before charging at the spider-headed humanoid.

Neith savages the corby at the gatehouse door again, and this time it falls, blood seeping from numerous wounds. (DEAD) At the same time, Owen and Faraway batter and slash at the spider-faced enemy, and they do severe damage to it.

In the gatehouse, Jeddy speaks the words, and at his touch S'Vith suddenly feels a bit less like his insides are going to fall out. (+4hp)

The second rooftop corby climbs down, and begins heading towards Owen and Faraway.  However, Horcrust's summoned eagle takes the field in front of it, and manages to bite the corby. (-3hp) The corbies begin to wonder if all of avian-kind is against them.

Okay, from what I can tell (and sorry for the delay), Horcrust finished summoning the eagle, and can move again.  S'Vith is up now also, healed of 4hp.  Let me know if I missed anything.

Feeling slightly refreshed, S'Vith turns, smiles, and mutters to Jeddy, "My thanks, friend."  With a whooping laugh, he jumps towards the nearest corby, with the nearby eagle flanking it to prevent its retreat, and attempts to wrestle it into inactivity.

Jeddy moves to where he has a clear shot, and once again does a terrible job at it.

S'Vith manages to sieze the Corby (it's Corby 2 btw).  He's surprised at the muscle he feels beneath the feathers.

Horcrust can move, and my assumption is the eagle will attack the grappled corby.

Horcrust's attack goes wide as S'Vith wrestles with the Corby in front of him.  Meanwhile, the ettercap viciously slashes at Owen, with one claw leaving a painful gash...but it's the bite on the Paladin's sword arm that does the most damage.  (-12, hp roll a DC15 Fort save)  The last (visible) corby approaches Owen and Faraway warily.

Let me know if I missed anything.  Owen, Faraway and Jeddy can go.  Map below.

Faraway lets out a whistle to Neith before positioning himself just north of the ettercap, trying to draw its attention from Owen. The druid slashes at the creature.

In response to Farway's whistle, Neith leaves the corpse of the corby, taking to the air. Bursting from the gatehouse, it spies the lone corby to the west. The roc wheels toward the creature and attacks.

Phil

The bite startles Owen, piercing his banded mail and rending flesh.  The paladin tries to maintain his grip on his sword.  "Sarenrae, heal my wounds, for my cause is just..." he prays, as he channels healing energy to his left hand and applies it directly to his wound.

(processing Owen's turn first since he's first in initiative)

Reeling from the bite, Owen's blade smashes into the writhing mandibles on the ettercap's face, splitting it.  The creature staggers, then falls. (DEAD)

Assuming Faraway will want to change targets.  Jeddy is after that.

Faraway, seeing Owen fell the ettercap, moves to join Neith in attacking that corby.  Despite the bird's distraction, the Druid misses the black-feathered menace.
