(It's not.  But hopefully we can jumpstart the game again.)
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Yiki looks over the studded leather, attempting to discern if it is of better quality than the off the shelf model he's been wearing.

"May be we can sell that in a nearby hamlet and use the funds to gath'r a bit o' info'mation about the situashun, my frien'?"

Let's just hope the first mate is wearing underwear, and we should be fine. ;)

Lotofsnow

"You can sell this," the half-orc says as he tugs at the armor he's currently wearing. The leather, brittle with salt damage, tears off in large chunks which he tosses to the floor. After a quick examination of the mate's studded leather, Yiki adjusts a few straps, loosens a buckle or two, and slips into the coat. He rolls his shoulders and twists back and forth a few times to gauge his maneuverability in the dead man's armor. "Not bad. Not bad at all."

If everyone's ready, you can explore more of the wreck.  Just note what items you are taking beyond what Yiki has.

I'll probably take whatever riches he has on him. $$$

(I want to be able to purchase a ryther pearl that makes it's way to a shop or something just to be safe.)

He had no gold or silver on him - it may have been in his cabin, assuming it's not one of the wrecked ones.

Yiki takes out a whetstone and works out a small chip in one of Gormfel's blades.

"Wonder if there are any survivors in this mess."

TheTick

The first mate is, unsurprisingly, unable to answer.

A cursory inspection of the rest of this deck shows the brig and the galley, both devoid of bodies and usable gear.  The larder is a different tale, however.  While most of the food was lost when the lower decks were smashed against the rocks, there are 24 days worth of rations here (not for each of you, total).  Also in the larder is the cook, very dead.  There are several pairs of massive puncture wounds on his neck and shoulders.

The only room left unturned is the Captain's quarters...

Yiki knocks on the captain's door.

And by knocks, I mean: Yiki picks up a sufficiently sized chunk of mast or other thick, heavy board, and proceeds to smash the door down.
