Yiki and Imfei are up.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Lotofsnow

Yiki begins a snarl at the creature that ends in a laugh, as he steps up and swings Gromfel at it.

I finally got the ooze off my sword, but here we go again.  Imfei draws her sword and flicks a bit of shell off her forearm.

Using the roll I did for Imfei's attack...

Imfei skewers the sea scorpion, and Yiki's attack neatly splits the monster's head in half.  It thunks to the ruined deck and slides away from the door.

Assuming no one objects, Yiki kicks the door down.

The door splinters and breaks open, and you can see into the supply room.  The blood trail leads in, and slumped against the wall is the first mate, Alton Devers, quite dead.  He had a multitude of wounds. (Heal skill check to learn more about them) There is a selection of equipment and supplies in sacks or held on rough shelving with nets.

Bigsby can see two different types of wounds on Devers, but can't tell what made them.

This dice roll has been tampered with!

Edit:

OOC:  I changed the wording of the post to reflect more accurately the way it was phrased above.  Didn't change the roll.  Cross my heart.

TheTick

sure, sure. ;)

On the shelves and amongst the debris, you find:

  • a block and tackle
  • 3 x large canvast sheets
  • 2 x fishing nets
  • a grappling hook
  • 2 x bullseye lanterns
  • 12 x flasks of lantern oil
  • 150ft of hemp rope
  • 5 x shovels

Also, there is a fine short sword (masterwork) next to the first mate, and he's wearing a nice set of studded leather armor (also masterwork).

(Of course, one may not want to take the armor off a dead man)

OOC:  Didn't think it was of a size which would fit Bigsby.
