Horcrust looks for anything that may be of any value.

Moving on, it only takes Faraway and Neith a few minutes to backtrack and reacquire the trail you were following - it's a wide, flat furrow quite unlike anything that would come from the marsh itself.  It seems to lead to an oddly shaped tree, but what appears at first to be a strange tangle of branches is in fact the moss-covered ribs of a wrecked ship.  The ruined ship lies on its side, split down the middle and mostly sunken into the mud and murky water.

Perception checks to investigate the wreck.  And let me know if any other questions.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

While his allies investigate the ship, Faraway instead keeps his eyes on the swamp around them.

This dice roll has been tampered with!

While this ship has been mostly claimed by the swamp, the brass nameplate is unmistakeable.  Kaijitsu's Blossom.  The trail leads through a gap in the trees through the south, but Faraway, watching out for enemies from the forest, calls out "Skeletons!"  Three sets of bones climb up out of the mud, and pull rusty swords from within their ribs.

(anyone who beats a 9 with Initiative will go before the skeletons, the rest after.  the three skeletons are standing about 20ft away.)

"Disgusting abominations, the swamp shall soon claim you!"

Faraway launches himself at the closest skeleton and hacks away at it with his scimitar.

The Druid's slash rocks the first skeleton back, sending bits of bone flying, but it is still moving.

Jeddy summons the clouds to his position (Obscuring Mist), and then steps forward to the edge of the mist.

Spoiler: ShowHide

Jeddy walks forward to the point where he is inside the mist, but the square in front of him is not.

TheTick

Horcrust's fiery ray lances just past the skeleton, as Jeddy summons forth more mist.  The two other skeletons converge on Faraway, and they all attack.  Two attacks connect, but due to the poor condition of the swords, do little damage. (-3hp for Faraway)

(Owen, S'Vith, then the top of the batting order is back.)

The second skeleton is smashed into the ground by S'Vith, bones tumbling here and there.  It doesn't move again.
