I like camping. We're staying somewhere near Allegany State Park.

We usually end up in a cabin while my in-laws take their pop-up trailer, and the kids sleep in a tent.  I just always end up with bad sinus headaches and other allergy-related issues.  I also am the pickiest eater, and don't share their love of camp food.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Lotofsnow

Ah, yeah. That sounds pretty miserable.

I've been camping all of my life and have gotten pretty good at preparing whatever we need food-wise. I just hope it doesn't rain a bunch this weekend. That always sucks, especially when camping in a tent.

TheTick

Yeah, I'm dreading the rain too.  I hate when all the blankets and sleeping bags and stuff get all damp-feeling.

Have you snow camped?

Lotofsnow

I camped in a tent in the snow once. It was fun. I was a lot younger and probably should have had better gear. Another time, camping during the middle of May, I woke up in the tent to find that it had snowed overnight, but it melted by mid-morning.

One of the last campouts I was in was on top of the snow, a half mile from any kind of solid ground. I forgot waterproof shoes and had miserably wet feet the entire campout. We built a campfire which ended up 4-5 feet lower than us as it melted snow. Luckily for everyone it was 40-45 degrees (night) and we had no worries about anything freezing (I worried about my feet anyway).

If there is electricity, it's not camping.  It's just vacationing.

Seconded.

I've been on vacation without electricity.

You may be wondering why I said 6lb, but the spell said it can pick up 5lb and that means it exerts more than 5lb of force. Scince you can't really make it go up as fast as it would fall, it exerts less than 10lb, and while the spell description does not say how much force, I think 6lb is reasonable.

TheTick

I won't be able to move it any further until tonight or tomorrow morning, FYI.

I'll be gone tomorrow morning.

Can't coup de grace someone who isn't helpless.

Aren't they sleeping?
