Also, are the rules for that system available online somewhere?

When my goblin campaign finishes, running a super-hero game could be a fun change of pace.  I just have no patience for systems that don't have their rules freely available on the web.

Cool.  Yeah I'm familiar with Deadpool, and probably own a dozen or more comic books he makes an appearance in :).  I just couldn't figure out how to make it a verb...

Playing Deadpool would be kind of hard, with all the wise-cracking.  But I guess he throws out some clunkers himself.

I've got the entire table laughing many times. Several of the other players have switched up characters as we've played, but not me. No way. I'm not sure I could play anyone else.

Also, I managed to end up with the Carnage symbiote attached for shits and giggles.

No, not for free. Also, this could be a bit tough to play on line. There is usually a ton of dice rolling and manipulation.

Basic: You create a dice pool based on your skills, abilities, and resources. You roll all the dice and select which two will add together for your "score." Then, from the remaining dice, you pick the highest die size(so a d10 with a 3 is better than a d6 with a 6) to be your effect die. Your opponent rolls his own pool in opposition attempting to either beat your score with his own or have an effect die that is larger than yours to mitigate some of the stress he takes.

The idea of Deadpool being the carrier for the Carnage symbiote tickles me.

It's actually kind of scary. Oddly, no one on my team, including Thor, Iron Man, Cyclops, and Ms. Marvel, seems to care about it.

It would definitely make the already erratic Deadpool even more unpredictable.

Things got weird tonight.

In our group, the Wrecking Crew has ended up with a cosmic cube and, since we were somewhat partially involved in letting them get it, we were tasked with hunting them down. The Wrecker has used the cube to set up a pleasure dome in New Jersey, full of bikini babes and other D-list villains. The Wrecker was simply using the cube to send out mooks to rob banks. We intercepted one of the robberies lead by Taskmaster. We subdued them, and got the info about how to enter this pleasure dome from Taskmaster. Essentially, just ring the doorbell. If you're on the list, you're in.

I (Deadpool), took Taskmaster's costume, and we all piled into the van and drove down to Jersey. Thor drove. Heh.

While I sat in the back chatting with a tied and bound and now Deadpool-masked Taskmaster, the "grown ups" up front could only talk about "not letting Deadpool get the cosmic cube."

To cut a long story short, we did a bunch of stuff, a bunch of stuff happened, and now Deadpool has the cosmic cube. Apparently, Thanos and Dr. Doom want it though.

I'm not really sure what to do with it.

SteveRogers

What would Deadpool do with a cosmic cube?  Devise a way to make it rain chimichangas?

TheTick

Hopefully Deadpool's read/watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

You can ask any questions you like to Ameiko about her plan, Sandru about the Caravan, etc.

edit:  I may not answer tonight, because bedtime approaches.

So, on my statblock, I have removed the shield armor check penalty from various skills. This is because, if I'm performing those skills, I'll generally have my shield slung around on my back. Example, I'm not going to be swimming with my shield out. Nor will I be riding with a heavy shield equipped for the most part. I marked them with asterisks though, in case it comes up and I need to calculate the -2.
I'm pretty sure that you keep those penalties even when the shield is strapped to your back.  But with a shield, you can always drop it in a pinch to get rid of the penalty.

May as well use that as my trait check for today:

Yikes, your saves are astronomical! :)

+8 Fort
+5 Reflex
+7 Will

TheTick

Yeah, Paladins get it good at level 2, with CHA to saves.

I will have a reply for Owen soon.

I actually haven't yet subtracted the Cloak of Resistance from those.  If someone wants it, their character can damn well ask Owen for it themselves ;).

Oh and that reminds me, I've updated my Mythweaver's sheet but not the statblock.  Will try and do that shortly.

SteveRogers

I just noticed my character sheet lists S'Vith as lawful good?  I haven't really been RPing him that way at all, so I may switch him to chaotic good if that's allowed.
