Wanted Shalelu there for that part.  You can either describe the beast to her, or just put "Faraway describes the beast and it's lair" if you want to save time.  Though everyone can put their 2 coppers in if they like, of course.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Lotofsnow

I would but my wife stole my laptop, and I hate typing on the tablet.

TheTick

You can ask any other questions you can think of, but nothing new happens for a day or two.  Level up, make any purchases (see up-thread for cash etc.) and I'll have something for you the next in-game morning.

Does anyone object to selling the +1 wakizashi, the cold iron wakizashi, the MW chain shirt, and the fireworks?

Porteiro

I assume that the chain mail won't work for Jeddy?

TheTick

No, but the smith will accept it in trade (at it's Broken value) towards a small set.  Let me do the math later.

Any chance there's a masterwork scimitar in town?

TheTick

A masterwork scimitar is not a problem.

How about this - the smith would take the broken chainmail and the three plain wakizashis in exchange for a small set of masterwork chainmail.

How about a darkwood shield? Any hanging on someone's wall perhaps?

TheTick

Let me think about that...I may have to go all Dragon Age on you and have you quest for the material.

OK. Probably just grab a heavy wooden shield for now.

Phil

I'd suggest holding on to the cold iron with the rationale that if the game gives you cold iron, chances are you'll be fighting a demon soon...

But, for Owen, he's still better off with his greatsword.  At +1 attack and 2d6, it still probably has better expected damage even with DR 5 and the little sword that bypasses it.  Plus smite evil bypasses DR anyway.

Maybe S'Vith should think about buying a pair of cold iron "brass knuckles" or something.  Get them masterwork and you'd get +1 to your attacks as well.

SteveRogers

I'd been thinking about taking the leap on some brass knuckles.  How would I go about acquiring those and using them during battle?

I currently have the Cloak of Resistance on my sheet.  Now that I have Divine Grace class feature, he can give it up to whomever has their eye on it.  I admit, I mostly want to keep it for style reasons :).  I suppose I can buy a mundane cloak that does nothing in its stead.

Kinda like a Whitecloak?  ;D

Porteiro

I'm thinking of switching Jeddy to throwing daggers, so that he come in close, threaten squares, and flank.
