I had recommended that Owen get it if only because he has two saves with +1. Once you hit level 2, you can pass it along to Horcrust or someone.

I don't know if there are any official Kanji for 'Kaijitsu' anywhere, but some possible clues to the meaning:  Kai can mean Sea or Ocean (also Recovery or Restoration), and Jitsu is Day, Sun, Reality or Truth.  One might surmise their name could refer to a sunrise or sunset, especially over the ocean.

Or it could've just been something that sounded Japanese enough for the creators. :)
