As a spellcaster, you may want to start tracking your casts and spell slots very closely. I would not rely on the DM to track them, else he'll go insane and smite you ;).

I'd consider ending all of your in-character posts with a spoiler block that lists your cast spells for that day. Then you can just copy it into your next post, or something like that.

No, I'm just confused. If I actually cast sleep, then I'm out. I know I have more elemental ray but It is in melee and everyone in front of me gives it cover.

I forgot to de-select Jeddy, but that bright are is what he could see, roughly. Just as an example. So he could probably get a crossbow shot off on it, but it's engaged in melee and in partial cover.

We haven't actually attacked it yet. Any chance of wild empathy?

If not, perhaps I will have Owen take the -4 penalty and try to do non-lethal damage.

S'Vith is running out of life as is. I'll try to get a flank so Owen can be more accurate, but it won't be here for awhile.

I think S'Vith will be fine. Even if he drops below 0 HP (which would serve him right) Jeddy can just heal him back up. If Owen hadn't missed, the fight would already be over :).

Not saying we're in a great situation, but no need to fret just yet.

I think I just cut S'Vith loose, so he'll be able to live out his dream of grappling the spider even if it is the last thing he does.
