We may be in more dire circumstances if there is more than one spider.

Phil

Is Faraway passive-aggressively not making a nature check for the spider?  ;)

Faraway and S'Vith do have a history when it comes to giant spiders as I recall.

SpamHead

I'm hoping it\they are a magical beast or something else Faraway will let us kill.

SteveRogers

We don't necessarily need his permission to kill things.  We could just do it.  It just won't make Faraway very happy with us.

SpamHead

I'd be OK if S'Vith killed the helpless sleeping spiders. Horcrust has known the druid and respects him enough to kill spiders if I don't have to.

SteveRogers

Well, S'Vith isn't just going to kill them all willy nilly, but he isn't going to just stand by if they attack us.

TheTick

My assumption is the good Druid's creator is busy, and I definitely want him involved in the talking. :D
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

That was my assumption as well.

Phil

Well he did post his consent, it was just brief and didn't involve a knowledge check...

Lotofsnow

Sorry. I'll roll on spiders.  I missed that part.

Rolled 1d20+7 : 19 + 7, total 26

SpamHead

But will you tell us[S'Vith] what you know?

TheTick

Faraway knows a lot about spiders.  He knows, in fact, that Horcrust's plan most likely won't work as most spiders are immune to mind-affecting effects.  They are known to see in the dark as well as Dwarves, and can sense vibrations out that far as well, so it may already be dimly aware of your presence.  They are as adept at walking on walls and ceilings as they are on the ground.  This is in addition to the things everyone knows about spiders, such as webs that stick to you and poisonous bites.

If you've already tried to cast the spell on it, it likely is aware of us.  And possibly is hostile now.
