It's actually a worse option than my greatsword for Owen as well, unless I switch to using a shield (and all the awkwardness of Lay on Hands with one).  The same attack bonus, but 6.5 average damage versus 13.

So it seems like something we are better off selling.  I think Tick's PC from my RotR game would love having it :).

Lotofsnow

I was thinking that S'Vith could use it, but seems Monks aren't proficient out of the box.

It is nice to have a +1 weapon around though in case we meet something with DR/magic. Wonder if I could exchange it for a +1 scimitar or club, heh.

Phil

I'm not particularly interested in the chainmail either, actually.  When we get back to town I plan on grabbing a banded mail as a stop-gap on the way to getting a full-plate suit made for Owen at some point.

Lotofsnow

Jeddy can wear chain, I think.

Porteiro

Yes, the chainmail would be a good upgrade for Jeddy, if only it were Small instead of Medium.

Well, it is broken. Maybe they can cut it down to size when they fix it?

TheTick

I might even let that be a somewhat cheaper way to get a masterwork set of chainmail.  I wonder if there are rules for that anywhere...

The wakizashi would basically amount to a small sized katana, though it's an exotic weapon either way.

Just let me know if you all want to take these items straight back to town, explore the unexplored rooms of the cavern system, or something else.

Everyone adds 160xp to their sheets, by the way.

As eager as I am to level, I would like to finish exploring the caves.

The map showed a path leaving the room at either end.

Is the chest the same as the one we got from the Licktoads?

It is very similar in design, and also a work of art in it's own right. (worth 250gp)

Personally, I'd be happy to explore the rest of the caves. Faraway is less enthusiastic.

TheTick

You'll have time to come back if any of the characters are interested.
