If Faraway and S'Vith are determined to have a shared history, they may want to walk near one another.

Edit:

Or maybe there's something in their shared past which makes them dislike eachother.  Something else to consider.

Lotofsnow

Yeah, I was thinking that. Due to my terrible Charisma, my relationship score with Shalelu isn't that great. Perhaps even before you were rescued, you began to spend more time with Shalelu, leading to some jealousy from my part. She'd been more or less pissed at me for a bit, ever since I managed to hide Neith from her. So, when she approached me about the mission to find the little girl, I blew her off. If I'd been there, one of use would have been able to fend off the spiders while the other escaped with the child.

SteveRogers

I like that.  I think we can work with that.  Maybe part of our arc in this story will be coming to some sort of reconciliation?

Lotofsnow

Yep, I think that could work out very well.

SteveRogers

Hmmm.  You hear that?  It's drama.  And it feels goooood.   :D

Lotofsnow

Yeah, well, joke's on you. He doesn't speak goblin.

SteveRogers

Who doesn't speak Goblin?   :o

Edit:

Ah, nevermind.  I got it.   ;)

Lotofsnow

Horcrust. He only speaks common.

SteveRogers

I don't think S'Vith minds one bit if the insult is accurate or not.  ;)

TheTick

Just need Horcrust's roll and we are good to go.

Porter, the forum dice roller is one of the BB code options provided above in the reply interface along with quote, link, and the like.  If you click it, then you just have to plug in the number of dice being used followed by the type of dice and then the modifier.  Example:
Rolled 1d20+7 : 3 + 7, total 10

Or you can just type roll in brackets like you would the letter "i" or "b" for italics or bold.  The forum will automatically format it for you when it posts it.

TheTick

This page has all the stuff you can do with the dice roller.  The die icon should be next the spoiler one if you are back using Glacier2.  The one thing it can't do is 4d6b3 but since I usually don't do rolled stats it's not a huge issue for me.

Some examples:

[roll]1d6+3[/roll]
Rolled 1d6+3 : 3 + 3, total 6

[roll]{Attack} 1d20+4
{Damage} 1d8+6[/roll]
Attack 1d20+4 : 8 + 4, total 12
Damage 1d8+6 : 7 + 6, total 13

This actually shows the biggest departure from other forum die rollers - you can use just one set of tags, and put multiple different dice on each line, getting all the results in one box.  Handy to copy/paste in your standard attack sequence for an example.

Phil

Maybe we can roll Horcrust's perception for him?

TheTick

Yeah, I didn't want to do that on the very first roll, but here we are.   Moving a long shortly.

I'd make a terrible in-person DM - I'd constantly be giving evil laughs.
