It *is* of average intelligence, but does anyone speak Aklo?  ;)  It's a Knowledge(Dungeoneering) check, if any of you have it, to gather more information about it.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

Lotofsnow

I think I started with a point that, alas, will be wide of its mark.

TheTick

Horcrust is the other that can go in this round, other than the monster.

Did you factor in the -4 to attacking someone in melee in your roll?  Looks like no, so a miss, even with the critter being flat-footed.

Anyone opposed to me trying to grapple it when my turn comes around?

Phil

Yay, was hoping we'd fight it even if Owen didn't want to seek it out.  Lets hope my rolls don't suck.

(No problem here with a grapple attempt.)

SteveRogers

Right.  Break a leg everyone.  We've got a swamp monster to smash!   8)

SteveRogers

Based on that roll, I assume I should just start referring to my grapple attempts as grapple failures.   :P

TheTick

Heh.  Perhaps even more important is you are providing a flank for Owen to unleash hell with his greatsword.

Phil

Yeah, looks like I needed every bit of that +2 bonus.  Assuming its got the stats I've seen before.

(For those who don't know, I just threw one of these at my party in the game I DM, though I buffed it a bit.)

TheTick

Yeah, you're good.  I didn't modify it since you guys are still level 1.

I cannot imagine the unholy army that had those as shock troops.  Especially the sturdier ones with levels of Barbarian.  Yeowch.

Probably won't be able to post anything until later tonight, FYI.

Back.  Faraway and Horcrust are still up.

Totally missed (could only hit on a 16+ so I'm pretty useless, just goes to show that magic is generally better against groups of smaller baddies)
