There's a calzone golem already statted up in this free adventure: http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/Cooking.pdf

Yes, I very much enjoy that.  Had I not switched from 3.5 in the other game, you might very well have been seeing that.
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

SteveRogers

If I grapple this cheese golem, can I attack it by beginning to eat it?

TheTick

Technically, monks can unarmed strike with any part of their body, so I'd allow it.  :D

Then S'Vith will anxiously await his cheesy doom.   ;)

I'm all for getting the wand.  In fact, if we could, I'd recommend that we get two of them.

I'd also recommend that we at least 1 potion for each member of the party.

Base price of a MW Greatsword is 350g. If you trade in your current greatsword, that should make up the difference I'd imagine. Otherwise, I'm sure you could procure a loan from one or some of us.

Thanks for doing the legwork on figuring out the gold leftover.  I do think I'll have Owen go ahead an purchase one.

Of course I'll feel really stupid if our first fight in the cave drops a +1 greatsword or something like that :).

Only one wand available in town.

We have 2 cure light wounds potions already. Base price for a cure light wounds potion is 50g.

TheTick

Go ahead and add that amount of cash, everyone, and Owen will have no trouble finding a masterwork greatsword to buy.

There's only the one wand here in Sandpoint, but potions are available.  You have 2 from Gutwad.  Note that Jeddy will have trouble with using those types of things in combat, as his Oracle curse is haunted.  :)

Yikes. I guess that means I'll hang on to the wand then, lol.

SteveRogers

I just realized I never posted a final version of my character sheet for this game.  The one I've been working from doesn't include any inventory items.  I'll have to fix that when I get home tonight.

TheTick

Phil, don't worry about learning about the fate of the Sandpoint NPCs.  As you might surmise from the player's guide having detailed caravan rules, Sandpoint is just a jumping off point.

I'll advance to the next day in a bit to keep things moving.

I'm not sure you want to grapple that...

Lotofsnow

OK, assuming cure light wounds potions are at book value, I bought 3 for 150gp.

I'll take the hit for it. Someone else can get the round next time.

So, everyone add a potion of cure light wounds to your character sheet (heals 1d8+1).

I'm going to hang on to the wand because of Jeddy's curse and the fact that Horcrust needs UMD checks to use it.

After the expense of the wand and the addition of gold from the chest, everyone, before other expenses, should have 356g 8s.

Obviously, Owen will have less due to his purchase. I will as well due to the potion purchase.
