Yep.  Also, the grey thing at the bottom is a cave.

We'll probably want to explore both, and I suppose I don't know anything else  >:(

Phil

I didn't want to jump Owen to the pond to explore, but if we make our way back there and I'm not around, here's a perception check:

Rolled 1d20+0 : 6, total 6

Phil

Well bleh.  I suppose if there's no rush he can take 20.  I plan on swimming out there to get the bones and stuff, if that's a reasonable course of action.

TheTick

Cheaters never prosper, Horcrust.  ;)

Phil, we can play it as Owen and Horcrust both getting the bones out of the pond if you like.  As mentioned, there are enough there to make 2 human-sized and shaped skeletons.  The ribcages have some tattered armor on them but nothing you can identify.

From here, everyone has to decide the course of action - follow the trail and map deeper into the marsh to see where the chest came from, rest at Walthus's, return to town, or something else entirely.  Call it mid-day or just after at this point.

Three words: Low On Spells. That's the trouble with being a low level spell-caster. (Glad I'm not a wizard now)

I vote to return to Sandpoint and collect our rewards! (And perhaps Identify that chest and get extended rests too!)

TheTick

We just need to hear from S'Vith, then, I think.  Though folks may want to discuss it with Jeddy as he's the only one with concerns about heading back.

Some of us probably need some rest to get some HP, don't we?  Might be best to head back to town and then head back out to the swamp to investigate once we're recharged.

Jeddy could easily be convinced of that.  What he said was in response to Owen's "we've done what we came here to do".

TheTick

Yes, a bit of this in character would do nicely, then I'll write up what happens when you get back to town.

Phil

Owen could be convinced to stick around for spelunking or whatever, but only if Jeddy throws a heal spell on him :).

TheTick

Is this a sort of generalized "let's go to town" consensus here?

Not sure. Jeddy seems like he really wants to stay. I'm waiting for him to indicate why exactly.
