If I pull the arrow out of my leg, can I attack with it?    8)

TheTick

Your fists are a lot more effective.  And there are some feats you'd probably want... ;)
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

SteveRogers

I was mostly joking.  Mostly.

Phil

At 8HP, don't be afraid to throw a heal to your friendly neighborhood paladin ;).

(especially since getting hit seems to be what he's good at, so far)

Lotofsnow

Argh. I hope a 14 is enough to hit these bastards.

Lotofsnow

Well, looks like I have less than 50% chance of hitting these guys then. Hopefully the others have better luck.

TheTick

Yeah, had you managed to beat their initiative, you would've hit 'em (16 AC).  On the plus side, when you do hit, the goblin will pretty much always die.

Would I be able to move close enough to 3 to also attack it in the same turn?

Lotofsnow

Yes. In fact, you can take a five foot step and flurry of blows on 3 if you want.

SteveRogers

I think I've asked this before, but I need to ask again.  How do I roll for Flurry of Blows?

Lotofsnow

In the roll brackets insert the following:

{Attack 1} 1d20+2
{Damage 1} 1d6+3
{Attack 2} 1d20+2
{Damage 2} 1d6+3

SteveRogers

Lotofsnow

Just to break it down,

Your attack is 1d20+2 because your flurry of blow has a -1 penalty.

That -1 penalty is because of the following equation:

Flurry Attack bonus = STR + Monk Class Level - Two weapon/hand fighting penalty

Flurry Attack bonus =  3 + 1 - 2

Compare it with your normal attack:

Attack bonus = STR + Base Attack

Attack bonus = 3 + 0

Both of these will increase by +1 when you level up. Eventually, level 9 in fact, you'll be MORE accurate with your Flurry.

SteveRogers

Well, it doesn't look like the first attack will be good for anything.  But hopefully the second will be more effective.   8)
