:)

Let me make it clear that Porter is not annoyed.  But is just too perfect of an opportunity for a little bit of character building and low-level inter-party drama to pass up. :)

Lotofsnow

Crap, by shouldering the blame I think I dispersed any likely drama.

I do not have any strong feelings towards anyone having it but it makes more sense if the front-line character has it (Faraway when tracking is important, and Owen when it is redundant or useless) but because anything that requires a save would generally be a trap (Which is generally more common in dungeons in which Owen would be leading) so from a purely statistical point of view Owen would probably do best with it.

Porteiro

Is this cloak of resistance small or medium-sized?

TheTick

Magic items (that aren't weapons or armor) re-size for the wearer, so no worries there.

You can still chat up Walthus if you like.  Just thought I'd move things a bit.  He's a level 3 Ranger, if you're wondering.  Helpful in a fight but not a world-beater.

Quotethough he himself would be hard pressed to not suspect fear as the motivation of not wanting to confront the monster

At level 3, a paladin is immune to fear entirely.  I suppose until then he can't be sure.  ;)

TheTick

I am looking for input from everyone on this, but I realize Porter may be held up a bit.

I'll be limited in computer time until January 2 - see everyone then!  Hopefully things are going well enough in Porter's neck of the woods that we'll have his two cents on the current decision.  Hope the holidays treated everyone well!

My apologies.  I've been out of town.

TheTick

So have I, and this hotel wireless is shit.  There's a map, when I can actually get it to you.

The map is added, and I'm back in town and read to roll.

None of you speak goblin, how unfortunate.

Or have access to magic that would allow anyone to speak goblin for that matter.

TheTick

Remember, the goblin you saw was in the window of one of the shacks.
