Just do it like a ranged attack (1d20+ your ranged attack modifer) and damage will be 1d6 + your strength modifier.

I don't see a Ranged Attack modifier in my Statblock, so I either didn't include it when I (poorly) made it or the modifier is just +0.

Add up your Dexterity Mod (+2) and your Base Attack Bonus (+1), so +3. :)

I feel like such a heel, but I'm not entirely sure how to tell what my strength modifier is.  I'd normally look on my actual character sheet, but I don't have access to it at work.

correct!  It's +1 for every 2 over 10 your stat is (so at STR 10, it would be 0, at 12, +1, at 14, +2, etc.)
