Ah, okay. Thought it was a courtyard.

TheTick

I might've misspoke at some point - you are in the 'gatehouse' between the gates and inside the wall, which leads into wider courtyard.

Also, there are two ladders that lead up to the top of the wall (which I just noticed and forgot to mention).
Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you've got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception!

TheTick

Will wait to see what everyone else wants to do before writing things up.

TheTick

If no one else has specific instructions on what they want to do, I'll write up with S'Vith and Faraway see from their spots shortly.

I am concerned S'Vith's foolhardy look-before-leap action of climbing the ladder may end badly for him, but it's in his character to do what he did.

SteveRogers

I am contemplating trying to Flurry of Blows the corbies with one of my two attacks for each.

TheTick

I'll make up a map later if needed, but there's enough room up on the roof that you wouldn't be able to reach two at once.  Though an attack would certainly distract them.

What are the chances I could grab one of them and throw it off the roof?   8)

TheTick

You'd have to grab one (grapple, something you are good at), and then move it in turn 2 to be hanging over the edge, assuming you maintain the grapple.  When you try that, the creature gets a second shot at escaping with a +4 bonus on the check (as I'd consider being that far off the ground hazardous).

I don't like my chances grappling one while the other has free reign to peck away at me. . . Hmmmm.

Lotofsnow

We can open the gate from this side.

SteveRogers

I feel like S'Vith is on a side quest.   8)

TheTick

More of an 'above' quest, relative to the others. :D  And I was just about to post that S'Vith did find an decent chunk of rock he could pick up and throw - you take a -4 non-proficiency penalty for an improvised weapon.  Call it 1d6 damage, if you hit.

I have the Throw Anything feat or skill or whatever it's called I believe.  Does that make a difference?
