I'd say we're like the A-team, except I managed to hit the ax guy on this page. :D

If I'm reading right, Rann has begun to close across the chasm, while the three of us are over on the other side, yes? I'll retcon if that's incorrect.

As the Jedi starts across the chasm, Arani takes another shot at Frex (because surely this is the smuggling leader). She briefly considers crossing the chasm as well, but realizes this will put her Galak's and Rorworr's lines of fire. Let's not throw ourselves into the line of fire just yet.

Yeah, 'cause that's a Jedi's job...

Exactly. :D

Somebody remind Galak to have his eyes checked after this mission.  Galak won't fire unless the jedi fails to strike the smuggler.  He'll keep his blaster pointed at the smuggler and then only fire if he can avoid hitting Rann. If he can't, he'll move to get a clear shot.

Rann attempts a sideways sweep with his lightsaber followed by a quick kick (1d20+3=7, miss) but Frex is nimble enough to dodge both.  Rorworr shoulders the bowcaster and takes the repaired blaster out (will be ready to fire next round).

Arani and Galak shoot at the same time, but only Arani connects (1d20+3=15, hit, 4hp).  The blast burns through a spot of armor and Frex yelps in pain.  Galak (1d20+4=13, miss) begins to wonder if his blaster is cursed.

Frex tries to shoot the Jedi standing RIGHT THERE, but Rann feels a surge in the force and ducks in time (1d20+4=14, miss).

Galak takes another shot.  Maybe I should just beat him with my blaster.

God, we suck...

Wash, lather, rinse, repeat. Stab! Poke! Slash! Eviscerate!

Speak for yourself! I'm actually hitting stuff. :D

Pleased with herself for getting a shot in and not hitting her companions in the bargain, Arani steadies herself against the wall, takes aim, and fires again.

You trying to push 'em in again too?

Considering we can't seem to hit anything, yeah. :)

Rann takes a moment to appreciate the skill shown by this criminal.  He decides to change tactics and tries to bull rush Saidle Frex over the edge, but he again dodges the Jedi's attack (1d20+3=11, miss).  That might just be a smirk on the crook's face.

It is short-lived, however, as Galak fires a shot that hits Frex straight on in the chest (1d20+4=19, hit, 5hp).  The armor absorbs some of the damage, but the smuggler is hurting.

Arani, perhaps a touch over confident (;)), fires again, and misses (1d20+3=10, miss), followed in short order by a shot from Rorworr's new toy.  His shot sizzles just past Saidle Frex (1d20+2=8, miss).  For a split second he considers just throwing the blaster rifle but manages not to.

Saidle Frex turns angrily toward Galak and fires a precise shot that hits full-force (1d20+4=18, hit, 11hp).  The Naboo soldier drops to one knee and has to catch himself with his hands.  There is blood, though he can't quite figure out from what part of his body.

(uh, ouch guys.  Galak is at 1hp.  What say you?)

Do we have any medpacks left?  If  so, does Galak have the strength to use one?  I'll heal myself if the answer to both questions is yes.  If not, I'll ask Rann to heal me.

Arani, noticing that Galak isn't looking so great, ducks down, grabs a medpack from their supplies, and places it on what looks to be the worst of Galak's wounds. "Stay down! Make yourself a smaller target!" She crouches also, trying to shield him as much as the ledge will allow.

Ok. I take it back. We suck. :D

Derrell

Galak tries to make himself as small a target as possible.

Rann sees Galak hit the floor and rushes to cover for him.

"Keep firing!" he yells at the others, and tries to stabilize Galak.

If the medpack doesn't help much, burn another heal on Galak (I have one left, right?), and otherwise provide cover at least until he gets out of danger.

If the medback is sufficiently effective, attack. I don't know if I can make these quick decisions using this round system; if I can't, I'll burn the heal anyway just in case.
