Turn 2: Shrine Circus

[Derrell]

"First I think we should find something to secure the prisoner.   Then we should search the  smugglers and their belongings for any medpacks."  Galak speaks to the prisoner.  "If you try anything stupid, our wookie friend might get even angrier than he is now.

[Nighthawk]

Rann keeps his lightsaber active until Galak and the others can secure the prisoner, then heads over to Rorworr to see his condition.

If no medpacks are found in the immediate vicinity, I'll burn a heal on Rorworr.

[Megan]

"Keep him covered a sec, guys."

Arani goes through the stuff in the room, hoping to find a) stuff to tie the smuggler's hands and b) medpacks.

[TheTick]

Arani is able to find some strong cord used to secure bundles for shipping, and uses that on the prisoner.  In short order, he is tied at the wrists and feet.

Galak, after he finishes menacing the prisoner, searches the fallen smugglers and the rest of the room for useful items, coming up empty.  He avoids the blasters, as they are being held together by spit and bailing wire.  One even has components held on by adhesive tape.

[Megan]

Arani sidles up to Rann and whispers, "I'll be bad cop."

She turns suddenly and strides up to the "prisoner," grabbing him by the front of the shirt and lifting him a bit off the ground so that he's face to face with her.

"So! Who are you, and what the hell are you doing here?" she growls, in the most menacing tone of voice she can possibly produce.

[T_Smith]

Before the prisoner can answer, Rorworr reinforces Arani's sentiment with another bellow, as if to remind the prisoner that his answer better be quick.

[Derrell]

Galak looks at the prisoner."Are there any more of you wandering around?"  Galak then looks  at Rann.  " Can you heal Rorworr?"

[TheTick]

The crook sneers at Arani.  "We're vacationing in the jungle, just like the off-world guidebooks suggest,"  he says, laughing at his own joke, "and why should I tell you anything?  Your Jedi won't let the hairball rip my arms off, as much as he may want to.  Just get out of here while you can, or my boss and his employer will kill us all."

He realizes a moment later he shouldn't've said even that much, and clams up.

[Megan]

"Oh, they'll kill you too, will they? Well, how bout this. Give us a bit more information, and we'll free you and let you run away. Stay clammed up, and, Jedi or no Jedi, I will put one right between your eyes," Arani says, gesturing with the blaster.

I don't know if there are motive checks in this system, but if he does make a sense motive, he should know she's absolutely serious, not bluffing in the slightest.

What can I say, I'm a "Han shot first" kinda girl. :D

"I'd take what she said seriously if I were you.  You and your buddies are responsible for our friend getting shot and you're the only one left to deal with the consequences."

There isn't, really, as this guy wasn't supposed to be alive. :P  You guys were just so intent on letting him be that I didn't want to do some lame suicide or 'oh, you tried to disarm him but killed him anyway' things.  Just playing it by ear at this point.

He can't imagine that you are NOT bluffing.  Heh.
