The Work Weather Thread

For the entire month of January, New Jersey got no snow accumulation. I can't remember the last time that happened. And I had bought myself a brand new ice scraper for the car and fresh salt and sand for the walk. I'm not complaining, though. I'm happy not to have a chance to use them.

I predict a heavy snowfall at the end of March or beginning of April, though.

We're pretty nervous about that here - the lake is still not frozen, so there's still a decent chance the lake effect snow machine will blast us with a massive snowfall.

Cold, cold office. I predict a squall of chaos ensueing this afternoon around 1pm when the agents converge to have their questions answered about the new web-stuff.

The dense fog is lifting outside, gonna be a warm afternoon.

My local boss is out, we had a teleconference this morning, but I guess I'll be flying solo without the materials for it. My IT guy is stonewalling me. My best friend is in ICU after a near miss and a bypass.

I predict acetaminophen.

I actually had to run the AC yesterday. Continued mild. I'm not as confident that when the high that's been sitting off of our coast breaks down that the pattern won't change. Wait and see, but mild now.

The office was toasty this morning.
