A little warmer and sunnier today.  In the fourties.

The drenching rain continues, but our imfamous river remains well below flood watch stage. We really needed these storms, enough that I am happy to report that we should have about three days without rain. It's needed to let things drain.

Today is the aniversary of the 1986 Napa Flood. From my wife yesterday: "Boy, you called it. You said that we'd get our heavy rain in February and March."

Partly cloudy and in the low 60's this afternoon.

Yesterday, I just wore my coat, no hat or scarf. I was freezing!

Today, I wore my hat and scarf along with my coat buttoned up all the way. I come out for lunch, and it's 53 outside. Light jacket for this afternoon then!

Also, I think it's going to rain.

Yeah, it's been pretty nice recently, particularly since I prefer cold weather to warm.  I wouldn't mind the rain and snow either except for the effect it has on driving.  I have actually considered moving to Alaska just to be somewhere cold.
