I will admit, though, that in the areas that we are different, we are very different.

Smitty, I was more reaction the phenomenon of not having to wear my heavy coat back to work when I returned from lunch. :)

I did wear my light jacket.

It's strange to think that, 12 years ago, I would have agreed completely with that statement. Moving to Indiana seems to have given me a much lower "This-is-cold" threshold.

It hit 47 here today, which was nice since it's been below freezing all week. It's been about 8 degrees every morning when I leave.

My current light jacket is a zip-up hooded sweatshirt. My coat is a large, thick, royal blue wool number. Just for comparison's sake. :)

My coat is somewhere between the two. I have occasionally owned real heavy-duty coats, but only rarely. (Mostly when I was planning on spending significant time in a colder climate, like before I went to NY for a year.)
