It's been damned cold here in Portland, in the 20s, but traffic was surprisingly light today.  I would have expected the ice to have a contrary effect.

Wind chill here is in the negative double-digits.  Our drafty building is having trouble keeping up after several days of this.

A moment of clarity here in the valley, the parade of storms will continue, however....

It's always a mess when I return from sickness.  Forcast is for large amounts of catching up!

We got a nice little blizzard today. It was cloudy and very windy but relatively warm this morning, and then dark clouds moved in and dumped several inches of rather snow in just a couple of hours. Driving home will be fun.

Rather snow...

Is that what you call Dan's grey highlights?

Whoops. That was supposed to be "rather wet snow." I'm having one of those days, I think.

Wow.  It's really cold outside.

The heater was left on in the office.  Oh, well.

Hail, 70+ mph winds, rain, snow, and ice.  Not a good night.

Snow, 60+mph winds, -3 wind chill, broken glass all over my giant glass place of work.  Fun!

Glass showers?

Foggy/cold outside.

Warming to 60 degrees inside.  I predict progress on all fronts--or someone dies.

I don't know how many more days of oscillating between warm/humid and dry/below freezing I can take before I get really sick. I sort of feel funny today.

Quote from: "El Seed"Glass showers?

Well, I got nervous when I saw my reflection shimmering in the glass of my window...

I have a vampire pal who can help you with that little problem.

I'm already pale enough, thanks.

The climate is hostile and dangerous on Hwy 29 today.

It's a big, scary world!  Keep your head down!
