Ouch!

No, I don't have any mob connections. Now is a terrible time to be on a job search, but I am rather good in that field.

Unfortunately I don't know the job market down there. Your area has especially high unemployment right now.

No joke. The ex was let go a bit over a week ago.

I really should be glad I have a job. But between the promised raise not materializing and this crap over the business trip I was supposed to go on next week, I'm finding that very difficult to do.

We've got sun up here, but we're gonna top out at about 66 degrees.

In the twenties. Apparently the high today was 29.

Bring on the snow!

Doesn't it get a little warmer right before it snows? (Forgive me, it's been years since I've even seen the stuff.)

I don't follow the weather closely enough to have a correct answer for that. :D

My guess, however, is no.

Man, I was loving the snow yesterday.

I watched it very comfortably from inside my apartment. :)

Until the evening, when my gaming group decided to meet in spite of it. Turns out the only road that was really bad was our apartment complex parking lot...which was a frickin' ice-skating rink. Fortunately, someone else drove. :D

Actually, since I'm so far behind, I went out and did some field work in it yesterday morning.  It was freaking awesome.  Some of my favorite memories involve working in the snow.

Besides, there's something epic about two fat guys with no business being out in that weather going out and designing power lines.  Climbing in and out of ditches taller than we are, tromping through snow-covered fields, driving stakes into frozen ground, lining up stations...  awesome.

Cool and clear today.
