Single digit wind chills today and black ice on the roads.  That probably means my wife's van won't start.

The heater in my area actually just came on.  And stayed on.  I'm suitably shocked.

They're predicting an inch of snow here. It will of course be the worst inch evah! Last week most of the city shut down as an overreaction to anticipated storms that turned out to be 10 minutes of heavy rain.

Single digits again this morning outside.  Heater on again today, making it not so fracking cold next to the window.

Cold outdoors.  Cold indoors.  Cold front in my head and throat encroaching on my chest.

I really like it when it's so cold and crisp out.  And the moon has been really bright the last few days, so standing in my yard and looking at the night sky was just an awesome feeling.

Bundled up in three layers of clothing, of course.

The cold front in my head has settled into a holding pattern in my chest.  Forecast is for hoarseness, coughing and wheezing for the next few days.

Big Doings forcast for the office today.  Our corporate people will be in to mess-up--er, I mean--install new programs on our computers.
