A LOW IS FORECAST TO BE POSITIONED WELL OFF THE CALIFORNIA COAST
BY THURSDAY. ALTHOUGH THE LOW IS NOT FORECAST TO PROGRESS CLOSER
TO THE COAST...SMALL WAVES WILL ROTATE AROUND THE LOW AND TOWARD
THE MONTEREY AND SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREAS. ALTHOUGH THERE IS STILL
SOME UNCERTAINTY WITH THE TIMING AND LOCATION OF THE WAVES...THERE
DOES APPEAR TO BE A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS. MANY OF THE STORMS
WOULD HAVE ONLY LIMITED RAINFALL AND COULD POTENTIALLY PRODUCE DRY
LIGHTNING. WITH THE VERY DRY CONDITIONS ACROSS OUR AREA...ANY
ADDITIONAL LIGHTNING STRIKES WOULD BE A STRONG CAUSE FOR CONCERN.

We've got smoke, too.  There's a fire burning about 30 miles west of here.  The smoke is driving my allergies nuts.
