Nice! :)

The climate is admittedly nice, and it is a very beautiful place, but the snobs are sometimes insufferable.

That being said, it's a great time to buy property here. It's retained some value in the slump, and there are quite a few bank owned properties to take advantage of.

Gee. I don't work in Real Estate or anything....

Hee!

Even if I had the money to move right now, I couldn't get Jim to move to the west coast.

What? He doesn't like earthquakes, floods, and wildfires?

Among other things. :D

If I were going to move to the west coast, that would be a good area to consider, though. Not nearly as dangerous geologically as Seattle. Maybe as dangerous as L.A., but substantially cooler.

L.A.'s not so hot.

Er, that is to say, the weather is usually very pleasant.

I've been curious, rivka. Has the air quality gotten better down there?

My brother's complaint when he lived there, ironically enough, was that there was actually too much sun. Too many sunny days, no alteration.

It's 74 there now, though, so that sounds nice enough. I'd miss the winter, though; I really like winter.

It's absolutely gorgeous here today. Hardly a cloud in the sky and 71 degrees. Also, the office is a tomb now. I don't know if everyone's still out to lunch or if they've taken off early. I'm the only one on my team here, and I'm probably going to take off in a few minutes.

Makes me want to repel off the walls to access previously inaccessable items.

'course I've been playing a lot of Tomb Raider lately....

It's 106 degrees here.  Not a cloud in sight.

Hotness ensues. Can you use the sidewalk to cook yet?

I'm pretty sure you can cook on asphalt.  I'm not sure who would volunteer to eat it. :?:

In that we have only a handful of smog alert days per year (and I think there was one recent year we had none), absolutely. (Further inland they still do -- Riverside and thereabouts.)

Woohoo!  It's going to be the hottest day of the year, so far.  Projected high of 110.
