Frosty morning outside. The pollen count seems to be falling.

Big company regional sales meeting in Vacaville today. I have the office mostly to myself!

It's all good.  We just have poor drainage, not legiitimate flooding concerns.  We did have to get the DNR to bust out their boats for work, though.  I can't imagine trying to cut a tree from an 8' jon boat sitting in flood waters.

Earthquake swarms nearby, in Palo Alto. They're small ones, but might be transferring pressure to the Haywood Fault, which, when we have a major one there, will be huge and devistating. We'd even feel some of that up here!

Frosty again this morning. We're heading into a weekend warming trend for Bunny Day.

Cool, not frosty. An unsettled week is due, according to satellites. Hit 70's this weekend, but we'll be cooling.

A flurry of reporting is due in a few (where's that coffee?).

Overcast. The storm to our north may threaten to spit at us a little. I'm preparing for "muggy", just in case.

Agents will converge on the office this morning, their sales meeting. I predict lots of procrastination ending on their part, and they will likely try to bend my ear.

How do you prepare for muggy? Bring a dehumidifier to work?

This old building is retrofitted with what I laughingly refer to as "central air." It has a really hard time cooling the place if the place exceeds, say 74 degrees. If I only heat the office to 65 degrees, it's easier to catch in time to cool it.

Which has worked very well today. :D

We had clearing yesterday afternoon, so that strategy paid off well. Someone logged in to the public side of this computer last night and didn't log off. I felt like Casye Pollard for a second, and would type the dreaded browser history name from that novel, but it's not really work appropriate.

He took a duck in the face....

Still clear this morning, chance of showers this evening. Quiet office. I actually have the car today!
