Dang it. It's really coming down out there. I guess I missed my window of opportunity.

It looks like a thunderstorm is brewing. I just hope it waits until I get to my car—I'm halfway across campus from it right now.

The drive home tonight was a little scary. It was so windy that I wondered what it would take to blow my little car right off the road. Construction barrels and all kinds of other stuff were blowing over and across the road and making people swerve out of the way. And after I got home, my wife saw our neighbors' trampoline blowing away.

Saxon also pays for dedicated hosting for Sakeriver, which speeds things up.

At best, all they do is take up valuable real estate in your skull. At worst they occasionally try to kill you by making your head explode.

I'm not going to be able to build or buy a new computer until sometime after I graduate and get a real job. And I might end up buying one of these rather than building a new machine. I like the SFF format, but it's tough to build something cheaper than that.

I thought it was supposed to be pretty warm today, so I didn't wear a jacket, but it turns out that it's about 50 and windy. It was pretty chilly walking across campus to the library.

I installed a seat warmer in my car, and I love it. I hardly even need the heater.

It's supposed to reach 56 today. Craziness.

One time my transmission hose popped off while I was driving on the freeway. It started dropping into lower gears, so I pulled over and ended up pushing it into a gas station parking lot with the help of a random stranger. Luckily all I needed to do was clamp the hose back on and add about five quarts of transmission fluid. There didn't appear to be any lasting damage.
