It was 91 degrees when we got home. We stained bookshelves.

Delightful cloud cover and cool temperatures on the morning I finally had time to trim the hedges. My war with the various holly bushes and the privet goes on, but we've won the day. Woo! We're no longer the slackers on our street.

"Internet Proficency Specialist"

I was going to say, "if only saxon took recommendations for titles," but instead I'll go with, "who in your office is the Spelling Proficiency Specialist?"

Otherwise I have to actually try to figure out who random posters are.

Ha! Now random internet people can call you at work.

I feel down right refreshed. Going to a meeting off-site was an excellent way of avoiding anyone that may currently deserve fist-of-deathing. Time to actually calm down followed by a good technical discussion of an entirely different project. Ah.

I think that person is hiding from me. I was into that range of angry, past swearing, where I speak very calmly when I encountered him. I've heard it's much scarier than when I yell. T

I am not okay.

I have never felt so fortunate to have to make a 20 minute drive for a meeting, but today I really need that 20 minutes of not getting anything done.

I am not okay.

But it consistently tastes like that.

I'm not a big fan of black coffee, but the more enjoyable parts of dissertation writing were all at the coffee shop attached to Purdue's football stadium that sold Starbucks products. Ahhh, grande sugar-free mocha haze.

I don't know how many more days of oscillating between warm/humid and dry/below freezing I can take before I get really sick. I sort of feel funny today.

12 inches of Jon Snow? I don't know, I find that a little hard to swallow.
